Rome Part 3 - The Sights

Rome is packed full of amazing sights, history and delicious and fresh food.  It really was a fantastic weekend and we are already dreaming of all the other places we want to visit in Italy while we are so close.  Hope you enjoyed  Rome Part 1 - The Hosts & Neighborhood & Rome Part 2 - An Unexpected Second Honeymoon ! The Trevi fountain - you can't see much of it in this first photo, but it's truly amazing and huge.  We both threw some € over our shoulder and into the fountain, which, legend has it, ensures you will return to Rome - yes please! Rome Part 1 - The Host's & Neighborhood

We had a wonderful holiday weekend in Rome last weekend, and owe a HUGE thank you to my cousin Phillip and his partner Marlon, who were fantastic hosts. Not only was their apartment in a very cool part of town, but we walked into to a room full of guide books, a phone & charger, fresh towels and extra toiletries, in case we forgot something.  I mean, come on. This is the door to their apartment, loved it. Shot of the neighborhood On top of everything, they cooked us a 4 course italian meal on Sunday night that was so good.  A big thank you to Phillip and Marlon for the wonderful company and hospitality.  We hope they make it over to Dublin to visit us.
