I had been wanting to take Brian on the cliff hike that I did about a month ago with my team at work. The hike is south of Dublin about 15 miles. You start in the town Bray and walk along the cliffs, above the sea to the next town Greystones. It's a beautiful 6K walk that really epitomizes Ireland with it's green hills & blue sea.   The photos are a combination of both times I have done the hike. One afternoon, about a month ago, Brian rode his bike up to the center to grab some ingredients from the Asian Market for something he was making.  When we returned, I knew something was up by the goofy grin on his face.  Turns out, he bought a bamboo steamer.  This I can get behind.  Steaming is a pretty healthy way of cooking.  Plus Brian loves Dim Sum and I love Thai Sticky Rice both prepared in a steamer (I realize that sticky rice is not necessarily considered healthy). We finally got around to trying it out last Sunday, and it was worth the wait.  Brian threw together a mouth watering Chinese dinner for us, Shimp & Pork Steamed Dumplings, Black Bean Chicken and Fried Rice. How good does that look? After our time in Brussels and Ghent , on our third day in Belgium we arrived in Bruges.  Bruges is, without a doubt, the cutest little town ever.  And, along with that, come the tourists - a lot of them, us included.  I think it's fair to say, we really liked Bruges at dusk and dawn, when the crowds thinned, the sun or lights were setting and reflecting off the canals creating a beautiful images at every corner. Brian and I took a long weekend to Belgium 2 weekends ago, going from Brussels to Ghent to Bruges.  I have a lot of photos to share as Ghent and Bruges are the most adorable towns that make you feel like you're walking though a storybook. In Ghent Our trip was planned around the Ghent Jazz Festival, where a band we've been wanting to see for years, was headlining, Rodrigo y Gabriella .  Their show was incredible.  We didn't know before we moved to Ireland, but after they left Mexico, they moved to Dublin and played on Grafton Street and street corners before they made it big.  We'll definitely see them again next time they play in Dublin.
