I know, we are super far behind on the blog and there is a lot to catch up on.  To close out Jenn's visit to Europe (after our ski weekend in Austria , and checking out Innsbruck and Munich ), we brought Jenn back to Dublin to see our home. We took a few day trips.  We first drove north of Dublin to Howth & Malahide.  The second we drove southwest to Kilkenny.  We wanted her to get a feel for Ireland, showing her the coast, some castles and the beautiful Irish countryside. Just a quick little post to share this video that a co-worker sent to me last Friday. Are you wondering if people actually say these words?  I probably would be.  Well, the answer is yes. Yes, they do. Which is why we can relate and why we love it so much. It's one of the cool things about living abroad. Yes, it's still English, but it's really amazing how many words are used or said differently, or even just use a different word altogether.  It's fun to learn. Speaking of Irish slag and accents , next time you see Brian, ask him to do his Irish accent. He is actually pretty good, and you might just hear him use one of the words from the video. There are a few things on our Dublin Bucket List, and one of them was going to a Leinster Rugby match.   Rugby is huge in Ireland, and the Dublin team, Leinster, has won the European Championship (The Heineken Cup) 3 of the last 4 years! In the middle of December, Brian and I bundled up and went to go see a Heineken Cup match at the Aviva Stadium.  They played a French team, Clermont.  Half time at the match Pre-game Pubs, all decorated Pre-game Guinness  We had a great view of the stadium on our walk over! Inside the stadium - it was pretty cool Let the game begin! We got smashed by Clermont.  We knew this by the score, not by what was going on.  Rugby is confusing, and it's hard to keep your eye on the ball when they are all grouped around pushing each other.  And we can never figure out why they are kicking, throwing, or huddling - I'm sure this is not proper Rugby terminology.  Anyway, it was a good time, and...

First of all, apologies for being SO far behind on the blog.  I'm still catching up from the holidays. After two unforgettable days skiing in the Austria, Jenn, Brain and I spent Christmas day checking out Innsbruck, then we had a fantastic Christmas dinner in our apartment.
