Halloween Weekend in Seattle
We took a quick break from the Lederman Kitchen for an impromptu weekend up in Seattle. Of course it was cold, cloudy, and sometimes rainy, but we still had a blast. After meeting the wife at the Space Needle (she had a work event there), we grabbed a late bite at Serious Pie . Seriously, it's amazing pizza. We got a couple of pints and a mushroom and truffle pie. I keep forgetting that we are making a food blog though and am forgetting to take pictures... The next day we cruised down to Pike's Place Market . It's really an interesting mix between a very touristy area, and a great local market. It really reminded me of some of the markets we saw in France, and of course the Ferry Building in San Francisco as well. There was a great selection of local produce, flowers, artisanal meets and cheeses, and plenty of seafood. I really wished that we didn't have breakfast right before heading over to the...
