What the Irish Say {Dubliners}
Just a quick little post to share this video that a co-worker sent to me last Friday.
Are you wondering if people actually say these words? I probably would be. Well, the answer is yes. Yes, they do. Which is why we can relate and why we love it so much.
It's one of the cool things about living abroad. Yes, it's still English, but it's really amazing how many words are used or said differently, or even just use a different word altogether. It's fun to learn.
Speaking of Irish slag and accents, next time you see Brian, ask him to do his Irish accent. He is actually pretty good, and you might just hear him use one of the words from the video.
We just got back from a really fun weekend down south in Cork with some friends. More on that after I get caught up on a handful of other posts.
