Charlie {month 1}

We welcomed Charlie to the family on April 22nd.  He weighed 7lbs 3oz and has gained just over 2 lbs since.  Charlie turned one month last Sunday and this little boy is already keeping us busy.
4 days old
Everyone says no two babies are alike but I still assumed I would get another easy, laid back baby like Sydney.  Nope, Charlie is his own little person, and quite the opposite.  He likes to eat and be held, and isn't fond of sleeping for long stretches at night.  He is pretty fussy and not a huge fan of the car or stroller, yet.  It's a good thing he is super cute and is starting to give us some nice smiles.

His biggest accomplishment this month was rolling from his belly to his back.  When he was 17 days old, I put him on his belly for the first time and he rolled right over.  I couldn't believe it but he did it again, and again and has been able to ever since.  Slow down little guy, slow down.

In his first month, Charlie spent a lot of time with family.  All his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins spent time with him.  He went out for lunch a handful of times while Dada was off work.  He's been to the park, the farmer's market, out for coffee, and to Tilden Park to ride the steam train and see the animals at the farm.  He is lucky to have a big sister to get him out so much. He had a short lived run as the youngest cousin, then, 2 weeks after he was born, Audrey Blair arrived.  We couldn't be more thrilled to welcome her to the growing family.

As always, I have a ton of photos to share of this cute baby boy in his first month of life.

Charlie completes our family and we love him so much.  I'm hoping this next month he starts to let me sleep a bit more but for now, I'm trying to enjoy all the baby snuggles I can because I know they won't last long.
